The Noah's Ark Gold Proof Coin 1 oz is limited to 500 pieces.
European history in the finest gold.
The biblical story of Noah and his Ark is deeply rooted in European culture and a powerful symbol of the Republic of Armenia. The Ark, which is said to have come to rest on Mount Ararat, is part of the Armenian coat of arms. This coat of arms adorns the obverse of this exclusive coin edition.
These gold collector coins, issued exclusively by the Central Bank of Armenia, are in proof quality and are available in four different sizes and as a collector coin set.
All four weight classes of this gold coin feature the Armenian coat of arms, the corresponding face value, the weight, the fineness of the gold, and the year of issue on the obverse. The words "Republic of Armenia" are inscribed around the perimeter in Armenian and English script.
A special highlight of this coin is the fine serial number engraving above the coat of arms. Since the mintage of these coins is strictly limited, each piece is individually numbered.
The center of the obverse of this beautiful gold coin is adorned with the eponymous Noah's Ark. It floats on the receding waters in front of Mount Ararat. Behind the imposing and distinctive mountain silhouette, the sun rises with bright rays. In the foreground, the dove that Noah sent out flies with an olive branch in its beak, heralding the end of the flood. The inscription around the design bears the word "Noah's Ark" in Armenian and English.
This proof coin is the first edition of the Noah's Ark gold coin in a polished finish. The silver Noah's Ark bullion coin has been issued since 2011 and has established itself very well on the world market.
This exclusive gold edition impresses with its exceptionally high minting quality.
