The gold bars bear the Argor-Heraeus logo. The bars show the weight, the precious metal used, the purity (999.9/1000), the manufacturer's label and usually also a serial number.

The precious metal smelter was founded as early as 1951 under the name Argor SA with headquarters in Chiasso (TI) in the south of Switzerland. In April 2017, Heraeus took over all shares in the company, which continues to trade as Argor-Heraeus and is one of, if not the largest smelter and producer of precious metals. That is why Argor Heraeus supplies major banks and central banks. Therefore the bars are very well resalable at banks and other precious metal dealers. Therefore you are not necessarily bound to us. We are very happy to buy back your bars in good condition at any time.

This gold bar is a product exclusively produced by the LBMA-certified manufacturer Argor-Heraeus. The gold bars bear the Argor-Heraeus logo.

The bars are individually sealed in blister cards. These are roughly credit card-sized outer packaging that protects the bar from scratches. Gold is a metal, but it is a little softer. From 250g, the bars are cast and too heavy for the blister packaging. That is why they come with an extra paper certificate and unpacked.

Because we are often asked by our customers: Argor-Heraeus and Valcambi are so similar in quality (LBMA), origin (Switzerland), purity (.9999) and investment value that they can be seen as almost identical investment opportunities and you can easily decide according to favour.

In the buy-back (purchase), only these bars are accepted at the specified price. For bars from other manufacturers (also banks or other precious metal manufacturers) and considering the state of preservation, we establish the purchase price after consultation with our traders.
