The Australian mint Perth Mint has been minting the Lunar III series coins with annually changing motifs since September 2019.
The Lunar III series is the successor to the extremely successful Lunar I series (1996-2007) and Lunar II series (2008-2019). The series is based on the 12 signs of the zodiac of the Chinese lunar calendar.
Here you receive the fifth motif of the Perth Mint's popular Lunar series in platinum.
The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is depicted on the value side, while a dragon is depicted on the design side. The motif changes annually and the entire series runs for 12 years - corresponding to the 12 signs of the zodiac. The coins in the Lunar series are among the most popular investment coins in fine gold worldwide. In addition to platinum, we offer the "Lunar III Dragon" in both gold and silver in various denominations.
The platinum dragon is limited to 5,000 pieces.
