Beschreibung platinum bar - 100 g 999,5 - ARGOR-HERAEUS
We purchase this 100 g platinum bar from various manufacturers that have been awarded the LPPM Good Delivery standard.
It has a purity of 999.5/1000 and is delivered individually welded. Platinum is a rarity among precious metals. Not only because of its rarity, but also because there are often delivery bottlenecks.
Three quarters of the platinum mined annually is mined in South Africa. Also, only a few platinum investment products are produced. The only well-known investment coins here are the Maple Leaf, the American Eagle, the Australian Koala and the Nobel from the Isle of Man. Platinum bars are also not widespread and therefore have a rarity value. This small range is also due to the fact that a large part of the platinum is used in industry. 40% of global platinum production alone is used in the automotive industry and another 35% goes to the jewelry industry, where platinum is becoming increasingly popular.
Due to its heavy use in industry, platinum is of course an exciting investment opportunity, as it relies on its use unlike gold.
We almost always work with Argor Heraeus in Switzerland for this bar. The melt is LBMA certified.
